Comformance of Klungkung Kareo as A Cultural Hegemony the Future of Modern Culture

Abstract

Toward Modernization has become a source of pride for certain communities, society faces various challenges and signifacant social changes. Modernization, globalization, and technology and information are the main drivers of these changes, drawing on Antonio Gamci's theory of discourse on the hegemonic culture of fashion today. The research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method and supported by a phenomenological approach. This method presents research result in the form of a comprehensive description narrative accompanied by the interpretation of all aspects of life to illustrate the complexity of life. The focus of the research lies in the aspect of the cultural festival held in order to strengthen the social capital and local wisdom of the people of Tangerang Regency as a manifestation of counter hegemony efforts. This paper sets outto test its theoretical premise empirically by reviewing the fashion competition held at the Global Partnership in research, community service, and international benchmarking seminar at Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa Jogjakarta with an approach to social change analysis. Starting form a consumptive life and the mindset that good goods are expensive goods, this research will change that traditional style through technology. The Future of modern culture can create quality products following the development of fashion that continues to develop, information and communication in several lives has given rise to a new economic model that is controlled by the effect of networks and open sunbertechnology and digital commons. Various digital communities and platform featuring about multiculturalism, neoliberalism, postmodernism, populism, data capitalism, neoconservatism and nationalism can create cross-sectoral synergies across the economiy, civil society and politics to help articulate the chains of equality that connect creatorr entities. so that researchers make etihnic and attractive costumes with the title "Comformance of Klungkungb Kareo as a Cultural Hegemony the Future of Modern Culture"
