Author Guidelines: Proceedings of the International Conference on Early Childhood Education

General Policy

These proceedings use a double-blind peer-review system; reviewers do not know the identity of the authors, and authors do not know the identity of the reviewers. Each article will be reviewed by a minimum of two experts who are competent in the field.

Publication in these proceedings is conditional on the submitted manuscript not having been previously published or not currently being under review elsewhere. Contributions submitted must be the authors' original work.

All incoming manuscripts will go through an initial editorial screening to check for compliance with format, scope, and originality. Manuscripts whose content originality cannot be verified will be desk-rejected.

We require authors to attach a similarity check report (e.g., from Turnitin, iThenticate, or other reputable tools) upon submission.

Peer-Review Process

A manuscript that passes the editorial screening stage will be sent for peer review. This process typically takes approximately 4 weeks. The steps of the review process are as follows:

1. Submission: The corresponding author submits the manuscript online via the link: Submission
2. Editor Assessment: The Editorial Team checks the manuscript's format and completeness against the author guidelines. The editors also assess the manuscript's relevance to the conference scope, as well as its novelty and originality.
3. Invitation to Reviewers: The Editor-in-Chief sends invitations to relevant reviewers.
4. Response to Invitations: Potential reviewers accept or decline the invitation.
5. The Review: Reviewers evaluate the manuscript and provide a recommendation: Accept, Revisions Required (Minor/Major), or Reject.
6. Editorial Decision: The editors evaluate all review reports. If accepted, the manuscript will be processed for final editing and layout before publication. If rejected or sent back for revision, the Editor-in-Chief will send a decision letter with the reviewers' comments.

Manuscript Formatting Guidelines

• Language and Format: Articles must be written in English using MS Word. Use inclusive and bias-free language. Apply minimal formatting: single-spaced with a standard font type and size 
• Manuscript Length: The ideal manuscript length is between 3,000-6,000 words (including references).
• Abstract and Keywords: Include an abstract of no more than 250 words and a maximum of five keywords.
• Author Details: Provide the full names (without titles), positions, affiliations, and email addresses of all authors.
• Citations and References: All references must adhere to the APA Style 7th Edition (2020). Include the author's last name and year of publication in the text. The reference list should be alphabetized at the end of the article. Ensure you provide DOIs (in full URL format) for all electronically available references.
• Template: Please use the provided proceedings article template to prepare your manuscript. 
• Agreement Form: The corresponding author must download, complete, and sign the Author Statement and Agreement Form. The signed form (on behalf of all authors) must be uploaded in .pdf format during the initial manuscript submission. The manuscript cannot be processed without this form.

Use of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI)

While we recognize generative AI as a tool to support the efficiency of scientific writing, AI cannot be credited as an author. Authors must declare the use of generative AI by adding a statement in the Acknowledgements section.

Use the following text for the declaration: "During the preparation of this work, the author(s) used [NAME OF AI TOOL/SERVICE] for [REASON FOR USE]. The author(s) declare that they have reviewed and edited the final output as needed and take full responsibility for the content of the published article."

Authors are fully responsible for any risks associated with the use of AI, such as the generation of inaccurate text, plagiarism, data fabrication, or bias. The editors reserve the right to reject a manuscript if they detect undisclosed or inappropriate use of AI.
